1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing autoglasscapital.com, requesting a quote, scheduling service, or using any service provided by Capital Auto Glass (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
Capital Auto Glass provides automotive glass repair, replacement, and related services including but not limited to:
- Windshield chip and crack repair
- Windshield replacement (at our shop or mobile, at your location)
- Side and rear window replacement
- Power window regulator and motor repair
- ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) camera recalibration
- Insurance claim processing on your behalf
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason, including safety concerns or inability to safely perform a repair or replacement on a particular vehicle.
3. Quotes & Estimates
Free estimates are provided by phone, online form, or in person. All quotes are estimates based on the information provided and are subject to change upon inspection of the actual damage. Final pricing may differ if the damage is more extensive than described, if the vehicle requires specialized glass not originally identified, or if ADAS recalibration is required and was not initially requested.
We will notify you of any pricing change before proceeding with additional work.
4. Appointments & Mobile Service
When scheduling service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate contact and vehicle information
- Be present or have an authorized representative available at the service location during the appointment window
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible, with a safe working area of at least 3 feet around the vehicle for mobile appointments
- Notify us at least 2 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel without a cancellation fee
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions unsafe for glass installation (heavy rain, temperatures below 40°F), parts unavailability, or other circumstances outside our control. We will contact you promptly in such cases.
Drive-safe waiting period: After windshield replacement, the vehicle must not be driven for the urethane adhesive cure time specified by our technician (typically 1–2 hours minimum drive-away, 24–48 hours for full structural cure). Do not operate vehicle wash systems for at least 24 hours after replacement.
5. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged in advance (such as through the Pre-Payment Program or direct insurance billing).
- Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, cash, and debit cards
- ID verification: Government-issued photo ID may be required for credit card transactions
- Insurance deductibles: If your insurance company has approved a deductible waiver, no payment may be required from you. If a deductible applies, it is your responsibility to pay that amount
- Returned payments: A $35 fee applies to any returned check or declined payment
6. Insurance Claims
Capital Auto Glass is an approved auto glass provider with all major insurance carriers. When you authorize us to file a claim on your behalf, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete insurance information (carrier, policy number, claim number if applicable)
- Authorize us to contact your insurance company directly to verify coverage and submit billing
- Understand that coverage, deductible waivers, and approved glass types are determined by your insurance carrier and policy, not by Capital Auto Glass
- Remain responsible for any deductible or amounts not covered by your insurance that are your policy obligation
Filing a fraudulent insurance claim is a crime. Capital Auto Glass will not participate in any fraudulent claims and reserves the right to refuse service if fraud is suspected.
7. Warranty
Capital Auto Glass provides a lifetime workmanship warranty on all installations performed by our certified technicians. This warranty covers defects in installation, including leaks, wind noise, and glass movement resulting from improper installation.
The warranty does not cover:
- New chips, cracks, or breakage resulting from road debris, accidents, or impacts after installation
- Damage resulting from improper care (e.g., driving before cure time, pressure washing too soon)
- Pre-existing vehicle conditions or frame damage that affects glass fitment
- Glass defects covered by the glass manufacturer’s separate warranty

8. Pre-Payment Program
The Capital Auto Glass Pre-Payment Program allows customers to pre-fund a glass service account at a discounted rate. By enrolling, you agree to the program’s Rules & Regulations, including:
- Funded amounts are non-refundable once applied to services rendered
- Unused balances may be applied to future glass services within the program’s terms
- Discount rates are fixed at enrollment and reflect the tier selected (Platinum, Gold, or Silver)
- Capital Auto Glass reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program with 30 days’ notice to enrolled members
- Credit card information submitted for the program is processed securely and used solely for program enrollment
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Capital Auto Glass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our services or website, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or property damage not directly caused by our negligence.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.

11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
